Join Berkeley Assistant Professor Ali Kakhbod in this mini-lecture on big data and deep learning in finance. The session will cover an introduction to the applications of deep learning for financial services. Ali received a Ph.D. in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Ph.D. in EECS (Electrical Engineering and Computer Science) from the University of Michigan. His research interests include information frictions, liquidity, banking, market microstructure, big (alternative) data, and contracts.

Ali Kakhbod is an assistant professor in the Finance Group at Berkeley Haas.
